The creators behind the acclaimed "Normal People" are back with the next TV adaptation based on one of the author Sally Rooney's books.
Director Lenny Abrahamson ("Room") and screenwriter Alice Birch ("Succession") managed to get a really popular and acclaimed adaptation of "Normal People", starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal. That miniseries was based on the author Sally Rooney's book of the same name - and now it's time for the same gang to tackle Rooney's debut novel "Conversations with Friends" -

In the new series, we will follow Frances (played by Alison Oliver in her first role) and her ex-girlfriend, who is now "only" her best friend, when they meet the author Melissa who is immediately fascinated by the two women. Soon, the two friends hang out regularly with Melissa and her husband, where secret affairs between the couple soon make the relationships heat up properly ... which of course leads to various a lot of difficulties and inappropriate feelings.

What if you could pause your favorite movie at the most perfect moment and step straight into the box? That kind of film magic is now becoming a reality in the documentary series "One Perfect Shot".
The series is created by Ava DuVernay ("Selma", "The 13th Addendum") and is based on a popular Twitter account. Where the account is based on publishing beautiful still images from classic films, the series goes a few steps further, and lets VFX artists rebuild the scene as a real film environment paused.

Here we will, among other things, see Michael Mann step straight into the adrenaline-pumping shooting in "Heat" while Patty Jenkins in the next episode examines the moment when Wonder Woman embraced her fate. This looks to be an inspiring masterclass in film art with some exciting names on board.
Other directors and films that will be released in the first season are Jon Chu ("Crazy Rich Asians"), Kasi Lemmons ("Harriet"), Malcolm Lee ("Girls Trip") and Aaron Sorkin ("The Trial of The Chicago 7"). .
"One Perfect Shot" will release all six episodes on March 24 on HBO Max.
