Lindsay Lohan is making a music comeback this holiday season

With the Netflix film "Falling for Christmas", Lindsay Lohan (36) not only returns as an actress. She is also making her comeback as a singer. She has now announced on Instagram that she is behind the comedy's Christmas song, which will be available on the streaming service from November 10th. And that's not the first time Lohan has sung it...

The song is a new version of the Christmas classic "Jingle Bell Rock", which also features the voice of rapper Ali Tomineek (25). The actress also performed the song in her film "Girls Club - Caution biting!" (2004) alongside Rachel McAdams (43), Amanda Seyfried (36) and Lacey Chabert (40) for Best.

For the new "Jingle Bell Rock" edition, a video has also been edited from numerous scenes from the Netflix film. "It's such a refreshing, heartwarming, romantic comedy and I miss making movies like this," Lohan gushed about her new film in an interview with Netflix.

What is Falling for Christmas about?
Lindsay Lohan portrays rich, spoiled and newly engaged hotel heiress Sierra. In a skiing accident, she loses her memory and ends up in the care of the attractive and down-to-earth pension owner Jake (Chord Overstreet, 33). He takes care of her together with his precocious daughter Avy (Olivia Perez).

In addition to acting, Lohan has already realized numerous music projects. In 2004 and 2005 she released the studio albums "Speak" and "A Little More Personal (Raw)" and also recorded several singles. In the movie "Freaky Friday" (2003) with Jamie Lee Curtis (63), Lohan also sang himself.

"Beverly Hills Cop 4" is moving forward with a new director

Time for another action comedy with Eddie Murphy in the role of Axel Foley. Now the director is in place.
At a time when many old movie icons are returning to the roles that made them famous, Eddie Murphy is also getting ready to play the constable from California again. Team arm in LA. Yes, you know - the cop in Hollywood.

Deadline writes that "Beverly Hills Cop 4" has found its director in Mark Molloy, so far best known from the world of commercials. This will be his first feature film. Molloy thus replaces "Bad Boys For Life" duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who are probably too busy with their superhero movie "Batgirl" for HBO Max.

When the film can be recorded is not known, however, we know that it goes directly to Netflix.

The first time Eddie Murphy played the cocky cop Axel Foley was in "The Cop from Hollywood" from 1984 - the most lucrative film of the year. A sequel came out in 1987, and the third and most recent film was released in 1994.

Eddie Murphy is now 61 years old, as you probably wonder, and apparently not yet "too old for this shit".

And now: one of the best movie themes of the 80's!

The creators confirm the long-awaited crossover in the latest "Better Call Saul"

"Breaking Bad" fans who have followed "Better Call Saul" over the years have all been waiting for some crossover between the series - and now the wait seems over.

For five seasons, we have had to follow Bob Odenkirk in the role of Jimmy McGill and slowly get to follow the transformation into Saul Goodman, the lawyer we all got to know in "Breaking Bad". Since the action has mostly taken place before the events of "Breaking Bad", fans of the series have long wondered if we will see Aaron Paul or Bryan Cranston appear in the roles of Jesse Pinkman and Walther White also in the prequel series.

And in connection with the last "Better Call Saul" season being released this spring (the second half will be released this summer), that wait actually seems to be over:

- It would be a damn shame if the series ended without Cranston and Paul showing up, right? You first heard this, Vince Gilligan (who created both "Better Call Saul" and "Breaking Bad") tells Variety.

However, it remains to be seen how "Better Call Saul" and "Breaking Bad" will actually be linked. Considering that we have, for example, followed Jimmy / Saul in a timeline that took place after "Breaking Bad" as well, so maybe this is rather where we should hope to see the series tied together (Paul is after all a bit older now)? It does not seem to be a completely ordinary crossover:

- These two worlds will be crossed in a way you have not seen before, I can guarantee that, comments "Better Call Saul" co-creator Peter Gould.

And even though we now know with relative certainty that Cranston and Paul will appear, it can both mean that we have a short little cameo to look forward to or that the characters appear in several episodes.

The first episode of the final "Better Call Saul" season (which comes in two rounds) will be released on Netflix on April 18. The second and very last part premieres on July 12.

The Flash: the CW renews the series for a season 9

The Greg Berlanti-created series about the DC superhero has been renewed for a ninth season, becoming the longest-running program on the American network channel.

While the broadcast of season 8 of The Flash has resumed since March 9 in the United States, the CW has renewed its fantasy series for a ninth round of episodes according to the site Deadline, silencing the rumors according to which the season in course could mark the end of the adventures of the DC superhero. A season 9 which allows The Flash to dethrone Arrow as the longest series ever broadcast on the network channel, the latter having ended in 2020 after 8 seasons.

“We are coming to the end of a three-year plan that I have put in place for seasons 6, 7 and 8,” showrunner Eric Wallace told Entertainment Weekly last March, before the renewal of The Flash is acted by the CW. “But for the real ending, I had to write two, because I don't know what the future holds (...) I'm hopeful that there will be a season 9, but I have to when even making sure that all of the character arcs will be wrapped up depending on the path the series takes. I also have to come up with something that can tease a potential new season."

However, the interpreter of Barry Allen, Grant Gustin, having only renewed his contract on the series for 15 episodes, it will be necessary to expect that this new season will be shorter than the previous ones - and may mark the end of The Flash's journey for good, after the return of an iconic character to the series in season 8.

In France, the first six seasons of The Flash are available on Netflix, while seasons 7 and 8 are still unpublished on the territory.
