Did Sharon Stone lose custody over 'Basic Instinct'?

Sharon Stone (64) looks back on a difficult time in her life. On the Apple podcast "Table for Two," the actress recently spoke about the custody battle over her eldest adopted son Roan (22), whom she lost to her ex-husband Phil Bronstein (72) in 2008. At that time, the judge decided that the father could offer his boy "a more stable home" in San Francisco because Roan also went to school there. Stone now believes she was convicted for her role in the erotic film Basic Instinct.

The film, which caused a stir in the 90s due to its erotic scenes, was the big breakthrough for the American at the time. However, the court questioned her qualities as a mother because of her role in the film, Stone claims. Accordingly, the judge asked her then eight-year-old son if he knew that his mother "makes sex films". The actress describes it as "some kind of abuse by the system."

"People walk around on TV today without any clothes at all"
"People are walking around with absolutely no clothes on regular television today and you saw maybe a sixteenth of a second of possible nudity from me - and I lost custody of my child," she continues in the podcast. Losing custody of her child took a toll on her at the time. "I ended up at the Mayo Clinic," where she had been treated for the time being. Acting took a back seat so that she could fully devote herself to her private life.

Stone and journalist Phil Bronstein adopted son Roan together in 2000. After divorcing in 2004, Stone adopted two more sons in 2005 and 2006 while single.

Avril Lavigne and rapper Tyga kiss at fashion week

News

Avril Lavigne (38) showed up on the red carpet with rapper Tyga (33) on Monday. Together they attended Fashion Week in Paris. The two made no secret of their intimacy. Lavigne and Tyga even kissed in front of the photographers.

"Tyga and Avril are getting to know each other better," a source told People magazine. "It's very new. It's very casual," the unnamed source said.

Last month "just good friends"
Avril Lavigne and Tyga were first spotted together in late February. The Canadian and the American visited a restaurant in Los Angeles together. They were photographed hugging in the parking lot before they got into the car together. Last week, the two came together to a party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio (48) in Paris. According to People, Avril Lavigne and Tyga were just "good friends."

Particularly spicy: just one day after visiting the restaurant with Tyga in Los Angeles, Avril Lavigne announced the separation from her fiancé Mod Sun (35). The two got engaged in May 2022 after dating for a year. According to "People", however, Tyga should not have been the reason for the separation.

Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer got married

"Game of Thrones" star Natalie Dormer (41) has married. The 41-year-old actress tied the knot with fiance David Oakes, 39, last month, according to the Daily Mail. The intimate ceremony in a small circle took place in the southern English town of Bruton, Somerset. "They wanted to share the moment with a select group of people as they are very private people," a source told the British newspaper. It was still "a beautiful ceremony".

Natalie Dormer and David Oakes became parents in 2021
The newlyweds Dormer and Oakes would have celebrated their wedding afterwards during a dinner that was also private. Only two other couples were present for the three-course meal. The festive evening ended with cocktails. "It was a memorable day," the unnamed source told the Daily Mail.

Dormer and Oakes have been dating since 2019, having shared the stage in the West End play Venus in Fur two years earlier. In January 2021, the two actors became parents for the first time, welcoming a baby daughter into their family. Dormer is best known to a wider audience as Margaery Tyrell on the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011-2019). Her husband Oakes, on the other hand, has already worked in the Netflix series "Vikings: Valhalla" (since 2022).

Kira Geiss from Magdeburg is our new Miss Germany 2023

The celebrity jury has decided: Kira Geiss from Magdeburg is the new Miss Germany. With her newly gained fame she wants to do good for young people.

The 20-year-old Kira Geiss from Magdeburg was awarded the title "Miss Germany" on Saturday evening (March 4). In the final, she prevailed against nine other candidates who had been selected from 15,000 applicants prior to the event at Europa-Park Rust. Instead of a crown, she received the title "Female Leader Award" and prize money of 25,000 euros - and the obligatory Miss Germany sash.

"The election for Miss Germany has grown and has developed from a talent competition into a female empowerment platform for the voices of the present," says the event's official website. Consequently, Geiss was honored for her commitment to youth work. This year's jury included Bruce Darnell (65), Ruth Moschner (46), Nicolas Puschmann (31) and Monica Meier Ivancan (45), and Frauke Ludowig (59) and her daughter Nele led through the evening.

"It's incredibly important to me to do good to my fellow human beings and to integrate positivity and forbearance into my everyday life," the 20-year-old is quoted as saying. "Last year I therefore helped found a youth community here in Magdeburg, which is committed to promoting young people on a social, creative and musical level." After the triumph, she wants to use the attention she has gained to set up a Germany-wide youth platform.

First trans woman was in the final this year
Kira Geiss follows Domitila Barros (38) from Berlin. The social entrepreneur and actress, who grew up in a slum in Brazil, won over the jury with her parents' street children's project, in which she is actively involved.

This year, Saskia von Bargen (19) was the first trans woman to take part in the final of a Miss Germany election. She sees it as her mission to educate people about gender reassignment surgery and wanting it.

Andrea Berg on marriage: No "hearts in the eyes" but "a team"

The German pop singer Andrea Berg (57) has been with her current husband Ulrich Ferber (63) for around 20 years. In a new interview, both reveal how much they still love each other.

He didn't want to get married again until he met his Andrea
Berg moved from Krefeld to Swabia after about eight months, Ferber told the "Bild" newspaper. She fascinated him because even though she was a star, she was "very down to earth and approachable". "I didn't want to get married again until I met Andrea."

The wedding followed in 2007, and last summer the two celebrated their 15th anniversary. Berg published a current picture on Instagram and one from the celebration at the time. "I would do it again," she wrote.

"The initial love became a team," the singer now explains. "We no longer walk around with little hearts in our eyes." The two, on the other hand, have much more in common: "We grew together, experienced a lot of beautiful things together and mastered crises." And there is also "so much that I would like to experience with Uli".

Berg recently made a declaration of love to her husband on Instagram. "What a feeling, too good to be true," she said of shared pictures in which the two look at each other in love. "We met for the first time 20 years ago, since then you have been my rock in the surf..."
