São Paulo: meet Lorenzo and Nathan, young people from the base enrolled in Paulistão

Last Saturday (26), São Paulo registered two youngsters from the base in the Paulista Championship: goalkeeper Lorenzo and right-back Nathan. Therefore, both are available to coach Rogério Ceni for the next matches in the state. THE THING! shows the trajectory of the pair.

Let's start with Lorenzo. The 18-year-old arrived at São Paulo in June last year from Internacional, where he was considered a promising goalkeeper. For Tricolor, acting in the under-20 team, he participated in three matches, all for the Paulista Championship.

Lorenzo played the second half of the 6-0 victory over Grêmio Osasco, played in 22 minutes in the 2-0 victory over São Bento and was a starter, being substituted in the second stage, in another victory over São Bento, this time 3-0. That is, in 130 minutes, he did not concede a goal for São Paulo.

Nathan, on the other hand, is better known to the São Paulo fans. He had already been observed several times in the professional's training sessions held at the Barra Funda CT, still at the time of Fernando Diniz and Vizolli's command. In April last year, he was listed in the 3-0 victory over Ituano. Afterwards, he was enrolled in Libertadores.

His debut as a professional took place in the defeat to 4 de Julho-PI, by 3 to 2 for the Copa do Brasil. At the time, he entered in the second half, replacing Vitor Bueno. It was his only game for the pro.

Rostock: Coach Härtel uses Ukrainian Sikan from the start

Hansa Rostock Sport Football

For Danilo Sikan, the only Ukrainian player in German professional football, it was a moving but certainly not so easy moment. The minute's silence before the start of the second division game of his club Hansa Rostock against 1. FC Nürnberg (0:2) due to the events in his homeland should have strengthened Sikan's thoughts about the safety of his relatives in Schitomir.

"We spoke to him intensively again on Friday. I think it's best for him to distract himself, to do what he's really good at and what his passion is," reported Hansa coach Jens Härtel on NDR and Sikan left the decision to play against the club: "It helps him to ignore the situation a bit."

Also read:

Sikan wanted to play and made his first start against Nürnberg. A week ago, the professional saved a point for Rostock with his goal as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Darmstadt 98. Sikan was substituted against Nuremberg in the 66th minute of the game.

The Ukrainian international was only loaned out by Shakhtar Donetsk on January 31.
