It will be a while before we get to explore Metropolis like Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark.

The promising game "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" developed by Rocksteady Studios ("Arkham" series) would actually be released sometime this year, but has now been delayed until 2023.

- I know that delays are frustrating, but the time we get will make it the best game we can do. I look forward to creating chaos in Metropolis together. Thank you for your patience, says the game's director Sefton Hill on Twitter.

The game takes place in the same universe as the "Arkham" games after "Arkham City", where Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark are given a mission to stop the Brainiac, but also evil versions of Superman, The Flash and Wonder Woman.

You can play alone, but the game is made for you to team up with three other friends and knock the mind out of the evil superheroes.

However, Warner Bros. has another DC game underway this year, "Gotham Knights," which is scheduled for release on October 25.

Did you look forward to beating superheroes in the skull this year?
