- It's been a while since we talked about the "Alan Wake" series. Now AMC, the wonderful, wonderful home for absolutely brilliant TV series, has bought the rights and we have worked together to make it happen, says Remedy's creative director Sam Lake in a video update.
"Alan Wake" by Remedy Entertainment was about a horror writer of the same name, who tries to save his wife from a "Twin Peaks" -smented mountain village where nasty people and scary shadow figures ravage. Alan was able to ward off the shadow creatures with the help of a flashlight, and then shoot them.
In the same update, they also mention that "Alan Wake Remastered" is on its way to the Nintendo Switch, but without a release date.

They also mention that Remedy Entertainment is investing even more in horror in "Alan Wake II" and that they will explore the protagonist as a person. The game should obviously be playable, but they will unfortunately not show anything from it during the summer but focus on producing something that is ready to be shown later.
"Alan Wake II" will be released sometime in 2023.
