British Hollywood star Michael Caine announces retirement from the film industry

After seven decades in the film business, it's finally time for retirement: Just over six months after his 90th birthday, British Hollywood star Michael Caine announced his retirement on Saturday. "I keep saying that I'm going to retire. Well, now I'm doing it," Caine told BBC Radio 4.

From the actor's perspective, the timing is opportune: "I told myself that I just made a film in which I played the lead role and received incredible reviews for it," Caine said. His film "In Full Bloom," which tells the true story of World War II veteran Bernie Jordan, was released in the UK last week.

Caine mentioned that in the future, he would only receive offers to play 90-year-old men. "Or maybe 85-year-olds." And these wouldn't be leading roles. "So I thought I might as well leave it all behind," said the actor, who has been awarded two Oscars and many other accolades.

During his seven-decade career, Caine has appeared in over 160 films, including classics from the 1960s like "Zulu" and "The Italian Job," as well as box office hits like "The Cider House Rules" and several "Batman" films. In 2000, he was knighted by the then British Queen Elizabeth II.

Caine is unlikely to be idle even after his retirement from the film industry. His first novel, "Deadly Game," is set to be published next month. In June, he mentioned that he had long wanted to write a thriller because it's the genre he enjoys reading the most.

Anna Adamyan reveals the name of her son

Former "GNTM" model Anna Adamyan (27) had lovingly referred to her little son as "Dino" in public until now. However, on Thursday evening, October 5th, the influencer unexpectedly revealed the real name of her son, who was born in August.

Beneath a black and white photo showing her holding the baby, Anna Adamyan shared: "8 weeks with my new best friend Levi." This revelation came as a surprise to many followers. One user wrote, "I didn't even realize it and just thought: Who is Levi now? I had already gotten used to Dino." The choice of the name received a lot of support. A follower commented that "Levi" fits very well, noting that the name has Hebrew origins and means "the connected one," "the faithful one," and "the hero."

For Anna Adamyan and her husband, 1. FC Köln footballer Sargis Adamyan (30), their little boy is indeed a true hero. The couple had to go through a lot before they could hold their son in their arms. The model, who became known through her participation in "Germany's Next Topmodel" in 2014, suffers from endometriosis. Fulfilling their wish for a child was very challenging. It was only after two miscarriages and eleven artificial inseminations that their dream of having their own child came true.

The birth was traumatic, too. Anna Adamyan revealed this on Instagram two weeks ago. She said she needed "every single day to even partially digest it." After several hours, a cesarean section had to be performed under general anesthesia, followed by surgery, which resulted in significant blood loss.

She explained, "I can't describe to you how much fear I had in that moment, how terrible the journey to the operating room was, and the feeling of falling asleep with a belly followed by waking up without one." She mentioned that due to the general anesthesia, she now has no memories of the birth, which she will unfortunately never regain.

Fortunately, her husband took many photos and videos of their first meeting with their son, for which she is "incredibly grateful." She said, "I look at them every day, with tears and at the same time a smile, hoping that the feelings from that moment might come back someday." The experience is still "traumatic and always present" for the couple, who have been married since August 2021, and the model is not yet able to discuss the events in more detail. She concluded by acknowledging that many women experience similar situations daily and asked for understanding and acceptance on behalf of all of them.

Victoria Beckham speaks for the first time about her husband's alleged affair

Victoria Beckham (49) has spoken for the first time about the pain she suffered following her husband David Beckham's (48) alleged affair with Rebecca Loos (46). Nearly 20 years after it was claimed that the former football star and his then-personal assistant got close while he was playing for Real Madrid in Spain, his wife revealed in the documentary, according to "Mail Online," that the months afterward were the "hardest" of her life and that she no longer felt that the couple "belonged together."

How they got through the 2003 crisis isn't clear to either of them, but they knew at the time that they had to "fight for their family." The period when their prominent marriage was in the headlines for months felt like they were "drowning." The former captain of the English national team also shared that he felt "physically ill every day" as he and Victoria fought to save their marriage.

London Premiere of the Netflix Documentary The problems from 20 years ago seemed miles away at the premiere of the four-part Netflix documentary "Beckham" in London on Tuesday. The mini-series explores his life from childhood to his recent role as co-owner of the US club Inter Miami.

Beckham and his designer wife, who wore a white pantsuit from her own label, were accompanied on the red carpet by their four children: Brooklyn (24), Romeo (21), Cruz (18), and Harper (12), as well as Brooklyn's actress wife Nicola Peltz (28) and Romeo's model girlfriend Mia Regan (20).

Hollywood star Tom Hanks warns about fraudulent AI version of himself

US actor Tom Hanks has warned his fans about fraudulent AI versions of himself. "Beware," Hanks wrote on Monday on the online service Instagram in reference to an image of himself previously generated by artificial intelligence (AI) and circulated online. It appears to be related to a marketing video for dental insurance featuring the Hollywood star. Hanks emphasized that he had "nothing to do with it."

The post by the Oscar-winning actor, published on Sunday, received over 111,700 "likes" in a short time. Tom Hanks, known for films like "Forrest Gump" and "Philadelphia," has around 9.5 million followers on Instagram.

Tom Hanks Warns Against False AI Advertising Recently, the screenwriters in the US film and television industry, during a months-long strike that has since ended, called for protection against the use of AI, among other demands. The strike by actors, who joined the writers in July, is still ongoing.

With the success of the ChatGPT chatbot developed by the US company OpenAI, concerns have grown that AI-generated images or audio recordings could be used for fraud and the spread of misinformation.
